The selectee for this position will serve as a Fuel Distribution System Worker in the Fuel Depot (Code 740) of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR YOKOSUKA.

First priority consideration will be given to preference eligible veterans.
Second priority consideration will be given to military spouse and family member preference eligibles residing in the commute area of the duty location for this position. Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily.

### Responsibilities
The successful selectee will perform the following duties:
* You will issue fuel from fuel distribution facility workstation to small craft, ships, refueling units, and/or tank trucks.
* You will receive fuels by tanker truck, pipeline, or ship at a fuel distribution work station.
* You will determine proper storage tank and opens appropriate valves so fuel can be received.
* You will comply with environmental laws and regulations when working with chemicals and disposing of toxic and hazardous waste.
* You will inspect hoses, lines, tanks, and pumps for leaks and loose fittings.
