Job Description

+ Act as liaison/facilitator between various clinics/departments within Naval Hospital, outer organizations and agencies to ensure Naval Hospital efforts are working as planned between Navy and Air Force.

+ Work closely with the Executive Office and Director Nursing Services regarding administrative support.

+ Collaborate with other Clinics/Departments Program Managers while providing assistance and guidance through budget execution and various other administrative tasks to enhance support and communication between U.S Naval Hospital Guam and Andersen Branch Clinic and Hospital Clinics and Departments.

+ Presentation and report preparation.

+ Chart, graph and format spreadsheets.

+ Track the execution of budget funds

+ Manage Taskers

+ Coordinate and manage data calls and consolidate inputs.

+ Enter and maintain data in a database.

+ Research instructions, regulations and policies.

+ File and other administrative tasks.

+ Facilitate various groups.

+ All interactions with department staff, patients and the public shall be courteous and professional.

Required Skills

+ High School graduate or Equivalent with courses in typing, filing, office methods and business English.

+ One year experience in medical general office environment required.

+ Possess a sound understanding of basic data gathering and validation methods.

+ Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.

+ Experience in a healthcare facility.

+ Skill in typing and use of computer for word processing, use of various MICROSOFT programs, database management for monitoring, and graphics software for designing audio-visual training aides is required. A qualified typist is required.

+ Skill in operating computer terminals, scanners, copiers, printers, fax machines, and email in a work processing/data transcription mode. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formats.

+ Knowledge in correspondence handling procedures.

+ Must possess a current valid state driver's license.

+ Thorough knowledge of Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act restrictions as they relate to medical records and documents for military service family members.
