SUMMARY: The basic function of the Inflight Base Manager is to manage inflight operations, training of flight attendants and ensure/supervise cabin conformity and Flight Attendant duties and responsibilities to be consistent with Company procedures and in compliance with regulatory guidance. The Inflight Base Manager reports to the Director of Operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the quality and administration of all aspects of Flight Attendant Duties and Cabin Procedures process Responsible for ensuring all Company procedures and FAA regulations are fully maintained by all InFlight personnel Maintain status as a qualified Flight Attendant through training and exercising qualifications on regular scheduled flights Teaching initial and recurrent Flight Attendant courses in accordance with company approved training program Conduct line checks as required Coordinating travel to/from training for Flight Attendants as needed Maintain proficiency and status as an Air Transportation Supervisor / Ground Instructor Maintain a courteous, professional attitude with all passengers, colleagues, leadership and outside Vendors Assist with hiring of Flight Attendants as directed Provide administrative office support; attend operational meetings and liaise with partner airlines as needed In conjunction with SOC design, disseminate, publish and award Flight Attendant regular bid and vacation schedules Hold regularly scheduled Flight Attendant meetings ( at least once per quarter) Reconcile bi-weekly payroll Required duties per the Emergency Response Manual Maintain relationship and oversight of badging process for all Cape Air Micronesia employees Responsible for the Flight Attendant Manual and its revision process Responsible for the management and supervision of all cabin operations and activities as it relates to flight attendants and their duties Demonstrate the values of our company’s mission/vision: kindness, teamwork and respect and the spirit of MOCHA HAGoTDI Authority to establish and modify the policies and procedures, instructions and information as it relates to Flight Attendant Duties and Cabin procedures Authority to establish and modify the curriculum for flight attendant training Conduct check rides, en route and line checks as needed Conduct planeside management support on a regular basis to achieve supervisory visibility in the workplace Disseminate Alcohol and Drug testing forms to employees when directed by Manager of ADAP Act on behalf of Director of Operations for matters related to FAA regarding Flight Attendant employee group Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold a Flight Attendant Certificate
Experience (3 years minimum preferred) as an Inflight Manager or Supervisor at a 121 US Air Carrier
Experience working with FAA Cabin Safety Inspector
Familiarity working with FAA guidance documents, including FSIMS
Experience working with ATOS and/or SMS programs
Experience as a Air Transportation Ground Instructor or Air Transportation Supervisor
Experience creating policy, revising policy and impending changes with an employee group
Experience conducting training of new hire and recurrent flight attendant training programs
Experience working with outside vendors to accomplish training
Ability to lead a group of employees
Must be a team player
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Developed problem solving and decision making skills
