**This position is located at the Charles King Fitness Center, Morale Welfare Recreation Department, Naval Base Guam.**

### Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is to provide fitness instructions to groups of authorized patrons assigned. Instructs and teaches skills, style and basic techniques of group exercise to various age groups. Demonstrates the movements and exercises designed and recommended for the specific group fitness class(es) as appropriate. Provides support for additional and scheduled Navy Fitness programming, including Fitness Fairs and monthly MWR runs. Assists with coordination of scheduling for command training, FEP classes, and CFl training. Assists with coordination of Yearly Training session ( AFAA, Zumba etc.). Performs other duties as assigned.

### Qualifications

One year experience in a related field is required OR 2 years of education above the high school level with related courses may be substituted for experience. Possesses and maintains a current group fitness certification(s) from a nationally recognized and accredited organization. Possesses CPR certification or be able to obtain one within 60 days of employment and must be current throughout employment. Subject to satisfactory completion of background checks and pre-employment physical.
