The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

* Serve as the Installation point of contact for all matters related to the real property inventory.

* Prepare technical briefings, provides technical consultations, point papers and special reports to higher authorities.

* Define, identify, research, and develop documents and data required for data calls by higher headquarters.

* Support all Audits of Real Property.

* Certify and Justify Real Property Inventory and Real Property Inventory Changes.

**Requirements:**

Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade. This requirement is called time-in-grade. All qualifications and time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and clearly documented in your resume.

Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final (e.g., confidential/secret/top secret, etc.) security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience. This position has been identified as a Career Field Facilities Engineering at Level II. If you possess DAWIA Certification, please indicate your Certification Level and Career Field information in your resume.

This position is a level II Non-Critical Acquisition Position in the Facilities Engineering career field under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). The selectee is required to attain DAWIA Level II certification within 24 months of appointment to this position.

Work requires overnight travel away from the normal duty station. Travel includes other NAVFAC installations or remote sites. Travel by military and commercial aircraft may be required, Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain in good standing a Government issued Travel Card for official Government travel purposes.In instances where a Travel Card cannot be obtained, the selectee must be willing and able to use own personal credit card for travel purposes and follow appropriate procedures for reimbursement of authorized official travel expenses.

### Qualifications

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing and managing the accurate, complete, and timely inventory or real property within the area of responsibility utilizing the organizations real property records system while serving as the Point of Contact for all matters relating to the real property inventory.

GS-11: our resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ensuring accurate and timely inventory of real property with the area of responsibility utilizing the organizations real property records system.
