Account Manager - Hawthorne CAT (Guam)
Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:Primary field sales responsibility for Machine Division (and EPG P/S) total sales (new and used machines, rentals, parts and service) and ownership of overall customer relationship health with assigned call list customers. Includes all aspects of the sales funnel, after sale support, credit collections, disputes, and customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Develop, implement, and execute a marketing and sales plan for assigned customer base in all three areas; machines, rentals, and product support.
+ Achieve stated coverage / sales call performance expectations.
+ Be accountable for achievement of monthly performance standards.
+ Active engagement in all E-commerce related activities and initiatives.
+ Work with Caterpillar factory representatives on implementation and use of merchandising programs.
+ Promote and advance customer understanding of all product support capabilities and offerings - - undercarriage management, Vision Link / Condition Monitoring etc.
+ Cold Call to develop new accounts and add to CRM.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
+ Must have previous sales experience in earthmoving industry. Product support experience preferred.
+ Technical aptitude.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter.
+ Must be organized and a good planner.
+ Ability to set and meet goals.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office.
+ Must have a valid Class C License.

+ Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
+ Temp/Weather: Primary working environment is outdoors subject to a wide range of weather conditions.
