JOB SUMMARY

The position will dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. They are responsible for safe and efficient methods for coordination of established pharmacy policy concerning drug patient care and provide clinical drug information to meet the needs of the patient, nurse and physician.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Studies and learns the company's catalog of products and services in order to confidently provide assistance to current and potential customers. Answers non-technical questions via phone, email or fax, about the company's products and services. Routes any technically related inquiries via phone, email or fax, to the appropriate Sales Representatives. Responsible for reviewing, preparing, processing, and transmitting Sales Orders and Purchase Requisitions for the following accounts: In-House: Express Med Pharmacy, Perezville Pharmacy, Sagan Amot Pharmacy, Minutes Rx, Biomedical Engineering - Service & Supply, and Cash Sales Local accounts - Guam Provide sales support to assigned Sales Representatives to include but not limited to, providing cost analysis research and completing requests for quotation prior to deadline (RFQ’s) Responsible for routing Purchase Orders for all local accounts, working with Procurement and Logistics in order to meet the demands of the customer. Provide sales tracking reports, account status updates, and monitor deadlines as required and as requested to Sales Representatives. All other duties as directed by Sales Manager and as required by assigned Sales Representatives

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

High School degree is required; some college-level coursework in Marketing, Business Administration or related field is highly desirable but not required. 2+ years of work experience within a customer service, sales/marketing environment providing clerical and administrative support is highly desirable. Exceptional analytical skills and intermediate proficiency with all Microsoft Applications, most notably with Excel and PowerPoint. Must have working experience within a sales software such as SAP, SalesForce, or other ERP/CRM system. In-depth understanding of sales principles, customer service practices, and standards. Must have the ability to articulate professionally verbally and in writing while working under extreme pressure. Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail while meeting strict deadlines. Must clear an OIG Exclusions Search. Must be able to deliver exceptional customer service under extreme pressure. Must demonstrate the ability to remain personable and professional when dealing with difficult customers. Must be able to communicate professionally verbally and in writing. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, twist and lean up to 90% of the time May be seated for long periods of time utilizing office equipment such as a calculator, cash register and computer and may be required to count, pinch, pick, write and lift up to 30 lbs.
