Full Time Steward Supervisor in Full-service Hotel

Primarily evenings 5pm-1am

Position Overview

The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the stewarding team and ensuring that all work is performed according to sanitation standards and fulfills the needs of the departments it supports (culinary, restaurants , banquets and the employee cafeteria.

Minimum Requirement

2 year experience as Steward Supervisor Valid Guam Health Certificate Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken Job involves lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching. 100% of work done standing. Must be physically fit and able to lift 35 pounds.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies

Basic knowledge of full-service hotel F&B operations Able to communicate with stewards, cooks and restaurant staff Able to comprehend Safety Data Sheets Must be able to follow directions and understand instructions on the use of chemicals. Knowledge of sanitation requirements and safety procedures Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions
