**JOB SUMMARY:**
This position is responsible for managing the direct relationships of 2 - 5 Managed Service client relationships within a defined geography or industry vertical
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Client Responsibilities:**
+ Owns client relationship from an Account Management perspective. Responsible for leading team that provides program management services to customers and contracted suppliers
**GP/Revenue Responsibility:**
+ Responsible for delivering financial performance as defined by annual account budgets
**Freedom to Act/Accountability:**
+ **Guidance given:** Work is performed without appreciable directions. Determines organizational objectives, interprets company policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers involving multi-level organizations. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-time perspective for desired results
+ **Policy involvement:** Establishes organizational policies for a major segment of the company. Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to company policy.
**Supervisory/Relationship:**
+ Monitor hiring and promotional activity within the region to insure compliance with company policy and standards.
+ Assess the overall knowledge and skill of program management teams and region staff. Verify that all required and appropriate training is taking place in a timely manner. Follow up on knowledge and skill deficiencies to insure they are corrected.
+ Evaluate the overall effectiveness of program management teams and regional personnel. Take steps to reorganize workforce and/or reassign responsibilities as is appropriate to improve results.
**Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:**
+ Insure that administrative duties within the region are completed in a thorough and timely manner.
+ Establish controls to minimize worker's compensation
+ Take steps to resolve administrative problems within the region and eliminate their recurrence.
+ Complete assigned projects in a thorough and timely manner. Present findings or results of completed projects at regional and/ or national meetings using appropriate audio/visual aids and presentation styles.
**Impact:**
+ Analyze the sales and operational activity of designated accounts. Determine the potential and implement steps for improvement or recommend discontinuation of operations as is appropriate
+ Analyze financial data for the region to determine if the accounts are producing desired results. Take corrective action to modify strategies and/ or improve deficiencies so as to insure expected results are achieved.
**Liaison:**
+ Collaborate with corporate and field resources as necessary to achieve regional goals/objectives
+ Collaborate with credit department on strategy to insure that company standards for account receivable management and bad debt control are maintained.
**EDUCATION:**
College degree required
Additional education preferred
**EXPERIENCE:**
5 - 7 years of account management or operational management experience
**SKILLS REQUIRED:**
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
+ Strong customer focus and customer service skills
+ Experience presenting to C-level executives
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
+ Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
+ Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
+ Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
+ Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
+ Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
+ May be responsible for a specific area of specialization
